Charter proposed settlements would satisfy standard for CPUC approval, CETF says
( June 8, 2026, 17:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposed settlement agreements between Charter Communications, the California Emerging Technology Fund and Cal Advocates would satisfy the California Public Utilities Commission's standard for approval, CETF said in a reply brief. The CETF argued that the non-settling parties in the proceeding fail to demonstrate that the proposed commitments "do not pass muster under the public interest standard under Section 854" and that the parties merely asserted that they would have negotiate different or additional commitments.See document attached....
