The Protect College Sports Act of 2026 would bar any intercollegiate athletic entity from restricting the ability of student athletes to monetize their NIL rights, guarantee student athletes one transfer without loss of eligibility, require athlete agents register with the state, bar football coaches from transitions mid-season and demand adherence to standards to protect student athletes from serious injuries.
