In a statement on Tuesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said US-based Primary Wave is a music acquisition, publishing and estate management company engaged in acquiring, managing and commercializing music and related intellectual property rights. The regulator said Kobalt’s main business activities relate to the provision of music publishing administration services to third-party music rights holders.
