Global Infrastructure Management-TCR Group deal to be reviewed in Australia

( April 17, 2026, 08:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by GIP V Snow Bidco to acquire 100 percent of the issued share capital of Envol Holdings and its subsidiaries including TCR Group is facing a regulatory review in Australia. In a statement issued on Friday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said GIP V Snow Bidco is a special purpose vehicle controlled by funds managed by Global Infrastructure Management. The regulator said that Global Infrastructure Management, ultimately controlled by US-based BlackRock, holds a 37 percent interest in Sydney Aviation Alliance Holdings, which fully owns Sydney Airport Corporation. The statement added that in Australia, TCR is involved in the leasing and maintenance of ground support equipment at airports around Australia through various subsidiaries.
