Nexstar asks US court for guidance in complying with TRO

( March 31, 2026, 20:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Nexstar Media Group asked for guidance and clarification from the US District Court for the Eastern District of California regarding actions it took upon closing its acquisition of Tegna Inc. that a temporary restraining order restricts, according to a court filing. The company said the TRO cannot be implemented without clarifications and may harm Tegna assets. Upon closing, Tegna became a subsidiary of Nexstar and that change of status "triggered a series of actions that cannot be undone, creating intractable operational and regulatory issues that require the Court’s attention."See attached document....
