France has made clear that it intends to follow the transaction very closely, as Groupe Atlantic is a market leader in key energy technologies such as heat pumps. The deal has separately been notified with the European Commission under the Foreign Subsidies Regulation.Paloma Rheem, a US-Japanese group specialized in air conditioning and water heating businesses, will need foreign direct investment clearance from the French government for its intended acquisition of a majority stake in Groupe Atlantic, MLex understands....
