Freudenberg's plan to buy cleaning-equipment maker Nilfisk reviewed in Australia

( February 9, 2026, 07:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal to acquire Nilfisk Holding by Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions GmbH, owned by Germany-based Freudenberg & Co. KG, will be reviewed by the Australian competition regulator. In a statement on Monday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said while Freudenberg supplies manual cleaning tools and other cleaning products in Australia, Nilfisk supplies professional cleaning machines in the country.
