Delinea-StrongDM deal receives merger-notification waiver in Australia

( February 3, 2026, 01:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Software business Delinea’s proposal to acquire 100 percent of the issued share capital of StrongDM, a privileged-access management software provider, has received a merger-notification waiver from the Australian competition regulator. In a statement Tuesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Delinea is a company controlled by funds managed by affiliates of TPG, a San Francisco-based global alternative-asset management company. The regulator said both Delinea and StrongDM supply identity and access management software. In its determination, the regulator added that StrongDM has a very small presence in Australia and there are several alternative suppliers of identity and access-management software in the country and globally.Statement follows.
