US DOJ files motion for final judgment in HPE-Juniper merger settlement

( January 5, 2026, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Justice filed a motion for final judgment in the Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Juniper merger settlement, telling the court that entry is in the public interest. The amended proposed final judgment requires the companies to divest HPE’s “Instant On” WLAN solution and license source code for Juniper’s Mist AI Ops capabilities to one or more third parties, who would then use the assets to compete in the US market for enterprise-grade WLAN solutions.
