Metsera opposes Pfizer motion for restraining order against Novo Nordisk bid

( November 4, 2025, 12:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Metsera told a Delaware Chancery court that Pfizer is trying to prevent the company from accepting a superior proposal from Novo Nordisk that is $1 billion, or a 18.9 percent, more than what Pfizer was willing to pay, and that a temporary restraining order would "interrupt a successful merger bidding process" that could lead to even higher offers. Pfizer petitioned the court to block Novo Nordisk's bid for Metsera, alleging the bid is an attempt by Novo Nordisk to "protect its dominant market position in GLP-1s by capturing and killing a nascent competitor."See file attachment....
