BGC Cementitious acquisition not opposed by Australian competition regulator

( September 11, 2025, 01:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The acquisition of BGC Cementitious by Adbri, Cement Australia, Holcim and HMA has been cleared, with Australia’s competition watchdog announcing it wouldn’t oppose the transaction. In a statement, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that it wouldn’t oppose the deal, after the merger parties amended their proposal in a way that took into account the watchdog’s concerns.
