Now, after the London shirtmaker’s assets have changed hands twice, a dispute over “radical style drift” will test whether its current owner can use the trademark on new products and through new retail channels without violating the agreement.Coexistence agreements can end costly disputes over common terms, but a later sale or relaunch can turn the parties’ original definition of a protected business into the next battleground....
