InterDigital wins UPC injunction against Disney over video patent

The judges in Mannheim found infringement, upheld the patent, rejected Disney’s FRAND defense, and said that enforcement requires security of €8 million.InterDigital has won a Unified Patent Court injunction against Disney over technology used in the Disney+ streaming service.
