Pfizer to appeal UK judgment on Covid-19 vaccine

The UK Court of Appeal today denied Pfizer’s appeal of the earlier High Court judgment, agreeing with the lower court judge that Moderna’s patent was not obvious.In a ruling today judge Richard Arnold of the UK Court of Appeal rejected an attempt by Pfizer and its German vaccines arm BioNTech to overturn a July 2024 finding by the High Court (see here) that their Covid-19 vaccine infringed Moderna's mRNA patent....
