EU lawmaker sues European Commission over AI liability, patents bills withdrawal

In a statement, the Socialists and Democrats member of the European Parliament said he was taking legal action to bring clarity and obtain the documents concerned after the legislation was withdrawn following a meeting between commission President Ursula von der Leyen and US Vice President JD Vance.Full statement follows....
