Suinno patent costs appeal rejected, Microsoft wins by default decision

( July 14, 2025, 14:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Suinno's appeal against a 300,000 euros ($350,403) security for costs in its dispute with Microsoft over European Patent 2,671,173, concerning an ambulatory browsing method, has been rejected by the Unified Patent Court's Court of Appeal. In a separate but related judgment, the court ruled in favor of Microsoft and issued a default judgment against Suinno for failing to pay the required security on time.
