US Federal Circuit wary of deciding prosecution laches issue in Google-Sonos case

Sonos, a patent suit where the doctrine is at the heart of the case. Instead, Judge Sharon Prost proposed that the laches issue is better handled following a remand on other issues.The US Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit may sidestep its opportunity to face the issue of prosecution laches in Google v. Sonos, with the issue taking a backseat to patent-specific claims at oral argument....
