Atchley Jr. of the Eastern District of Tennessee denied a request by Extreme Networks for a referral to the US Copyright Office under Section 411(b)(2) of the Copyright Act in regard to SNMP Research and SNMP Research International's copyright registrations. In the same opinion, he denied the plaintiffs' request for summary judgment on Extreme's laches-related affirmative defense. See attached document....
