UPC has received 320 infringement cases since opening two years ago

( June 5, 2025, 13:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Since its opening in June 2023, the Unified Patent Court has received 883 cases, including 320 infringement actions, 304 counterclaims for revocation and 65 stand-alone revocation actions. Additionally, 88 applications were submitted for preliminary injunctions. The local divisions in Munich and Düsseldorf remain the most active as of the end of May. The Court of Appeal has handled 203 appeals under various rules, alongside discretionary reviews and expedition applications.See UPC case load attached....
