Inari will hand over communications to Corteva in US plant patent clash
By Melissa Ritti ( June 2, 2025, 18:37 GMT | Insight) -- A motion to compel discovery of complaints by other seed companies about the business practices of Inari Agriculture was made available with redactions Friday, the same day the parties filed a stipulation — signed off on by a Pennsylvania federal judge earlier this morning — that Inari will produce the communications to Corteva Agriscience within a month. That is one less matter to be argued tomorrow in a US court, where the parties will convene for a claim construction hearing on, among other things, the proper meaning of disputed terms like “plant” and “seed.”A complex patent dispute with major ramifications for the transgenic plant industry will be back in US court tomorrow....
