Lord & Taylor loses US indemnification bid over Gucci counterfeits

A Southern District of New York judge also held that Lord & Taylor failed to pierce the corporate veil and dismissed loss of reputation and tortious interference claims against supplier Circle Business, although its breach of contract and fraud claims survived.Lord & Taylor EComm will not receive indemnification for a default judgment against it for selling Gucci counterfeits, a US Southern District of New York judge held yesterday, in the online retailer’s suit against Swiss supplier Circle Business....
