Federal Circuit turns away appeal by New Orleans Saints logo challenger

Michel Messier claims to be a descendant of French royalty and rightful owner of the mark, but the court said his failure to plead the existence of "a concrete and particularized injury" means they cannot hear his appeal.A Vermont man’s effort to cancel the New Orleans Saints’ fleur-de-lis service mark won't be revived by the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, who on Monday dismissed Michael Messier's appeal for lack of standing.
