MIL-COMM accuses ex-sales director of stealing artillery grease formula

Gregory Cohen is accused of forming Engineered Materials Inc. to siphon business on products utilized in the gun systems aboard the USAF F-16, F-22 and F-35 jet fighters and in more than 20 US military artillery and heavy weaponry platforms — each of which are declared “sole source critical applications items” by the DoD’s Defense Logistics Agency, the plaintiff asserts.Engineered Materials Inc. and its president Gregory Cohen were accused yesterday of violating the Defend Trade Secrets Act in connection with their “OBEX Prime Grease” product, which MIL-COMM Products Co. says independent testing showed to be virtually the same formulation as its proprietary “TW25B” product....
