US judge denies summary judgment motions in copyright fight over 'Return Again'

( March 11, 2025, 18:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge Ann M. Donnelly of the Eastern District of New York gave Shlomo Carlebach's daughters Neshama and Nedara Carlebach leave to amend their contention that a claim for co-authorship of the song "Return Again" by plaintiff Ronnie Kahn is time-barred by the Copyright Act's three-year statute of limitations, but said summary judgment on the merits of the claim is precluded by factual disputes.  See attached document....
