UPC rules in favor of Hurom, clarifies jurisdiction over ongoing patent violations

The court found that NUC Electronics and Warmcook infringed Hurom's patent and ordered the company to stop sales, recall products, and pay damages. The court also confirmed that the UPC has jurisdiction over ongoing patent violations, even if they began before June 1, 2023, when the UPC Agreement took effect, clarifying how past and ongoing infringements are legally handled.
