News publishers bring US copyright claims against Cohere over AI training

( February 13, 2025, 18:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Conde Nast, The Atlantic Monthly Group, Forbes Media and other news publishers filed a US copyright complaint against Cohere, accusing it of scraping copies of their articles, through training, real-time use, and in outputs, to power its artificial intelligence service, which in turn competes with the publishers’ offerings and the emerging market for AI licensing.
