Avago, Tesla withdraw UPC patent claims amid US developments

By Inbar Preiss ( January 7, 2025, 11:24 GMT | Insight) -- The patent dispute between Avago Technologies and Tesla entities in Europe has concluded with the Munich Local Division of the Unified Patent Court approving the withdrawal of Avago’s infringement lawsuit. This follows last week’s resolution in the US, where Realtek Semiconductor dismissed its complaint against Broadcom and Avago, which had involved Tesla as a customer. Tesla also withdrew a second European Patent earlier in December, after an Avago patent was declared invalid in August by the Munich Local Division.The dispute between Avago Technologies International Sales and Tesla Germany GmbH, along with Tesla Manufacturing Brandenburg SE — over alleged infringement of a patent related to high-speed data communication — has officially concluded in Europe....
