EU derivatives transparency plan passed to European Commission for endorsement

( December 15, 2025, 14:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plans for boosting transparency in exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives have been finalized and passed to the European Commission to endorse within three months ahead of their expected implementation in March 2027, the EU’s financial markets regulator and supervisor said on Monday. The European Securities and Markets Authority's proposal covers mandates under EU law on derivatives trade transparency, package orders and input and output data for the over-the-counter derivatives consolidated tape.Press release follows.
