AOG Technics director jailed for 56 months over aircraft parts fraud

By Martin Coyle ( February 23, 2026, 15:12 GMT | Insight) -- The director of plane parts supplier AOG Technics has been jailed for four years and eight months in a UK court for faking safety certificates for 60,000 aircraft components. Jose Alejandro Zamora Yrala had admitted operating the company for a fraudulent purpose after a Serious Fraud Office prosecution. The fraud grounded planes around the world for suspect parts to be checked and removed.
