Former Azure Power director yet to be served in US SEC bribery case

( April 23, 2025, 16:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Cyril Cabanes, a former member of Azure Power’s board of directors, has yet to be served by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, according to a status report filed by the agency. The SEC sued Cabanes in November 2024 for violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act over his alleged role in a bribery scheme in India to secure multi-billion-dollar energy projects for his company and a second renewable firm based there.
