UK set for expanded fraud strategy, amid plans for global summit

( March 26, 2025, 00:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The new expanded Fraud Strategy will be published by the UK government later this year, fraud minister David Hanson will announce later today. “The Fraud Strategy will include new proposals which cover data sharing, working with key private industry partners, international cooperation, fraud against businesses, public awareness and victim support, and evolving threats, including AI,” the government said. Plans will also be set out for a global fraud summit next year, Hanson will say.Statement follows....
