South Korea pushes ahead with agentic AI, energy, physical AI port initiatives

The measures, approved at a ministerial meeting on science and technology, include a strategy to gain an edge in the global race to build an agentic AI ecosystem. Under the initiative, the country will aim to establish a leading framework for the safety and reliability of agentic AI, create an open foundation for agentic AI deployment and promote demand-driven adoption of agentic AI technologies, according to the Ministry of Science and ICT.
