In addition, the EU executive also presented measures that would impact industry, transportation and buildings. The commission is employing sector-specific electrification measures, while seeking to narrow the electricity-to-gas price gap and phase out fossil-fuel subsidies.Industry, transportation and the building sector face a new wave of EU measures aimed at accelerating electrification, as the European Commission seeks to reduce fossil-fuel imports and bring down energy costs (see here)....
