EU Commission selects nine hydrogen production projects to support clean transition

The projects are expected to provide 1.1 giga-watts of electrolyser capacity and produce 1.3 million metric tons of hydrogen over their first 10 years of operation. These projects are also estimated to avoid 9 million metric tons of CO2 in greenhouse gas emissions.
