US says 11 deals inked on critical minerals

( February 5, 2026, 18:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US State Department said the Trump administration has signed 11 new bilateral critical minerals frameworks, with Argentina, the Cook Islands, Ecuador, Guinea, Morocco, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan. The list adds to 10 other related framework agreements signed in the past five months as well as completed negotiations with 17 additional countries, according to the State Department.
