EU must clarify, enforce critical raw materials targets, bloc's auditors say

Objectives are non-binding, poorly defined and unevenly addressed. Lengthy permitting, lack of investment, high energy costs and weak recycling rates hinder progress, while geopolitical instability continues to threaten supply security.The EU must diversify imports, set up domestic production and reuse recycled materials in order to reduce dependencies on other countries, a report issued by the European Court of Auditors has stressed (see here)....
