German regulator approved 45% more power lines in 2025

( January 2, 2026, 11:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: About 2,000 kilometers of electricity lines were approved by Germany's energy regulator last year, about 45 percent more than in 2024, it said Friday. The first approval procedures for major high-voltage direct-current lines were completed, the Federal Network Agency said in a statement.
