Poland taken to court by EU for not submitting national climate plan

( October 8, 2025, 11:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Poland will be brought to court by the European Commission for failing to submit its updated national energy and climate plan, the EU executive said in a statement. Poland was required to submit its revised plan by June 30, 2024, outlining how it would meet the EU’s 2030 targets for greenhouse-gas emissions reduction, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
