The initiative aims to lower energy prices for large industrial users while supporting new demand for clean electricity. Electricity and wind lobby groups welcomed the move for lowering the risk profile of clean-power investments, while the chemical industry remained more cautious.EU large energy users, together with utilities, storage providers and grid operators, are set to benefit from new financing, cooperation and de-risking tools with closer involvement from the European Investment Bank, a commission official said today while discussing the new contractual arrangement launched by the European Commission last week....
