EU energy regulator approves power system operators’ security of supply outlook

( August 14, 2025, 12:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EU energy regulator ACER today approved the 2024 security of supply risk assessment produced by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, or ENTSO-E. The 10-year outlook is a reliable tool for monitoring supply security risks across member states and supporting policymaking, ACER said in a statement. The report improved its projections thanks to more robust cross-zonal capacity data, more representative weather scenarios, and closer alignment with national climate plans, ACER said.
