German CDU presents designated ministers, including trade, energy and digital

The CDU has nominated Katherina Reiche as minister for economic affairs and energy. Reiche was CEO of Westerenergie, Germany’s largest regional energy service provider and distribution system operator. Karsten Wildberger, former CEO of the retail company CECONOMY, is to become minister for the new ministry for digitalization and state modernization.
