Merger clearance granted by the Competition Commission of India to Petronas' clean energy arm, Gentari, aligns with its focus on expanding its renewable energy portfolio. The acquisition will also enable Brookfield to monetize a portion of its Indian renewable energy assets.Malaysian oil and gas multinational, Petroliam Nasional Berhad, has received approval from the Indian antitrust watchdog for the acquisition of 21 special purpose vehicles owning renewable power generation plants in the country....
