EU increased use of gas reserves but has no supply issues, commission says

A gas transit agreement allowing Russian gas to reach the EU through Ukraine has ended at the end of December. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who publicly opposed the agreement's termination, will come to Brussels on Thursday to discuss the issue with the European Commission, its government said.EU gas storage withdrawals are higher than at this time last year, but the bloc has no gas availability issues, the European Commission said....
