World’s emission forecasts guarantee ‘trainwreck’ for every country, UN climate change chief says

Global CO2 emissions in 2030 are expected to be just 2.6 percent lower than in 2019, well below the 43 percent cut needed to stop the worst effects from global warming, a UN Climate Change report published today said.
