Apex-Mercer Administration Services deal triggers Australian regulatory review

( February 18, 2026, 07:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Global financial solutions provider Apex Group’s proposal to acquire all of the issued share capital in Mercer Administration Services (Australia) and certain assets of Mercer Outsourcing (Australia) and Mercer Outsourcing will be reviewed by Australia’s competition watchdog. In a statement published on Tuesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said both Apex and Mercer supply administration services to superannuation funds in Australia.
