Brazil’s CADE rejects Petlove appeal, ends Petz-Cobasi merger review

The rival company is the main potential buyer of divestment assets approved under an agreement with the regulator.The Brazilian competition regulator rejected a final appeal seeking clarification of its ruling on the Petz-Cobasi merger, which was cleared by a majority vote in December, subject to the signing of a concentration control agreement (ACC).
