SoftBank, DigitalBridge will require US CFIUS, FERC, FCC approvals

( December 30, 2025, 23:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: SoftBank's acquisition of DigitalBridge will require approvals from the US Committee on Foreign Investment in the US,  the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the US Federal Communications Commission, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the UK Financial Conduct Authority, DigitalBridge said in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The closing date is March 29, 2027, but can be extended 90 days. Under certain circumstances, DigitalBridge could be required to pay SoftBank a $96 million termination fee. Under different circumstances, SoftBank could be required to pay DigitalBridge a $154 million termination fee.Excerpt....
