Coles' supermarket lease bid to be reviewed under Australia's new merger rules

In a statement on Friday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Coles Group, through its supermarket subsidiary, has agreed to a “Letter of Offer” to take up a lease at a new neighborhood center in Somerville, in the regional city of Kalgoorlie.
