Japan's YKK to acquire 80% stake in Panasonic Housing Solutions

A new intermediate holding company to be established by YKK will acquire the shares currently held by Panasonic Holdings, and the two companies will jointly operate the PHS business under the Panasonic brand, according to a statement published Monday. The transaction is expected to close by the end of March 2026, subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals.
