L-mobi loses appeal of Dutch KPN, Youfone deal approval

( October 15, 2025, 08:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Dutch competition authority correctly approved Dutch telecom operator KPN's takeover of mobile virtual network operator Youfone, the Rotterdam District Court ruled Tuesday, rejecting an appeal brought by L-mobi. Last year, the authority said KPN wouldn't have fewer incentives to allow other mobile virtual network operators to access its infrastructure. L-mobi argued the deal would trigger competition restrictions in the wholesale and retail markets for mobile telecommunication services. But the court found the watchdog properly reviewed the deal.Statement follows (in Dutch)....
